Born 1863 in Willesden, Middlesex to the Reverend George and Jane Letitia Despard.
1871 residing with her parents and siblings at 188 Belsize Road, Hampstead, London. 1881 with her parents and siblings at 9 Brondesbury Road, Hendon, Middlesex. 1891-1911 with her father and siblings at St Lukes Vicarage, Bath Road, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. 1901 both parents at home, and no occupation given for Amy now aged 37.
1911 with her widowed mother and siblings at Undercliffe, Leckhampton Hill, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. Occupation, private means.
Enlisted 5 September 1916 aged 39 and posted the same day to Kitchener Military Hospital, Brighton (formerly the workhouse) 5 September 1916 to 5 October 1916. At Lewisham Military Hospital, London from 19 February 1917 to 19 March 1917. Next of kin her sister Mrs Edith McMillin of 12, Nightingale Mansions, Clapham Common.
She was knocked down in a street in Middlesex and killed 23 October 1918 aged 41
