Died 25 april 1915 aged 24. Killed in action whilst leading his men up a cliff in the Lancashire Landing at Gallipoli.
Son of Joseph Francis and Edith S Porter, of Helmsley, Yorks.
At rest at Lancashire Landing Cemetery, Turkey including Gallipoli.
