War Memorial on the ground in Alne St Mary Churchyard, Yorkshire. It is a shame that this memorial has been placed on the ground only to be walked on and covered in sheep droppings. In my personal view it shows a little bit of disrespect to the fallen from Alne.
To the glory of God and in memory of the following men of Alne who gave their lives for their country in the Great European War of 1914 - 1919
