GAINGER Alfred Richard John, Sergeant, W.Op and Air Gnr, 1337997, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve attached to 427 Squadron, Royal Canadian Air Force died 16th September 1943 aged 27. Son of Alfred James and Harriet Hannah of Alderley Edge, and brother of Alexander and Albert both of whom fell, and husband of Alice May of Alderley Edge.
At rest in Alderley Edge Cemetery, Cheshire

GAINGER Albert Thomas, Gunner 1132121, 65th Field Regiment, Royal Artillery, died of wounds at Salerno, 18th September 1943 aged 21. Son of Alfred James and Harriet Hannah of Alderley Edge, and brother of Alexander and Alfred both of whom fell.
Commemorated on Alfred's memorial at Alderley Edge Cemetery, Cheshire and at rest in Salerno War Cemetery, Italy

GAINGER Alexander Philip, Lance Bombardier 11422728, 2/3 Maritime Regiment. Killed in action at sea 9th February 1943 aged 19. Son of Alfred James and Harriet Hannah of Alderley Edge and brother of Albert and Alfred both of whom fell.
Commemorated on a family memorial at Alderley Edge cemetery, Cheshire and also on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial, Hampshire
