ALLWOOD Alfred. Private, 2365, Private 1/8th, Lancashire Fusiliers, died of wounds 14th June 1915, aged 25 years, from wounds received at Gallipoli. He was the husband of Margaret Allwood of 11 Lord Street, Lower Ormond Street, Chorlton-on-Medlock, Manchester.
HADFIELD John William. Private, 823, 1/10th, Manchester Regiment, died of wounds 13th June 1915 from wounds received at Gallipoli. He was born in Oldham, Lancs.
MORISON John. Private, 1102, 8th, Australian Infantry. Died of his wounds, 12th June 1915 received at the Dardanelles.
Some notes from his army record. He joined at on the 17th October 1914 aged 21. He was the son of James Alexander of Maroona, Victoria. He was shot in the groin at the Dardanelles on the 8th May 1915 and transferred at some stage to Malta on Hospital Ship, Braemar Castle.
