Squadron Quartermaster Sergeant 7897764 Alexander Scott BROWN, North Irish Horse, Royal Armoured Corps. Born in Stirlingshire and lived in Belfast. He was killed in North Africa 21st March 1943, aged 27. He was the son of Alexander and Mary of Bangor, County Down, Northern Ireland. He is commemorated on his grandparent\'s John and Mary Scott memorial at Dundonald Cemetery, County Down, Northern Ireland. Also on the Medjez-El-Bab Memorial, Tunisia.
His cousin, Pilot Officer Thomas Norman Stockdale RAF also fell, and is at rest in the family plot at Dundonald Cemetery, County Down, Northern Ireland.
