During a mining operation on 15 October 1944 a Halifax aircraft collided near Norre Halne, Denmark. Six out of the seven crew members died.

Son of Albert Edward and Mary Slatter, husband of Isobel Margaret Slatter, of Aberdeen.

At rest at Vadum Cemetery Denmark.

Commemorated on his parents' headstone.

Cheltenham Cemetery Gloucestershire.
