- Private ALBERT HAROLD VICKERS No. 82314 Sherwood Foresters.
Died 21 March 1918 aged 19.
Son of Albert Edward and Eliza Mary Vickers, nee Crooks and brother of Alexander George who also died in the great war. In 1911 he was living with his parents and siblings at 29 Violet Street, Derby.
Commemorated on his brother, Alexander George's memorial in Nottingham Road Cemetery, Derby, also on the Arras Memorial, France. His brother also died in the great war.

He enlisted aged 18 on the 28 May 1916 and was posted to the army reserve. He lived with his parents at 29 Violet Street, Derby and his occupation was a clerk. He was mobilized 27 March 1917 and posted to the depot of the Sherwood Foresters. On the 13 November 1917 he was posted to joined the British Expeditionary Force (BEF) in France and was killed in action 21st March and laid to rest by Noreuil, Ecoust-Saint-Mein Road, France. After the war his remains where due to be reinterred but his body was never found. (See seperate entry of Army Records)
