STANTON, Albert David. Private TR7/13507, 53rd Royal Warwickshire Regiment, he died 29th November 1918 aged 22. He was the son of Joseph and Elizabeth of Delwood House, Birmingham Road, Studley, Warwickshire. He is at rest in Plymouth Road, Cemetery, Redditch, Worcestershire.

Some notes from his army record.
He joined the army on the 7th February 1916 aged 18 years and 11 months and he was posted into the army reserve. He lived with his parents at 59, Mount Street, Redditch and was by occupation a clerk. On the 26th April 1917 he was mobilised and posted to the depot. During his training he was taken ill and he was admitted into Fargo Camp Military Hospital, Wiltshire on the 19th November 1918. He was diagnosed and found that he was suffering from influenza and pneumonia. On the 29th November 1918 at 3 am he died from cardiac failure. Interment took place at 12 noon on the 1st December 1918
