Born 19 September 1894, at 6 Novara Terrace, Bray County Wicklow to Thomas and Jane Wilhelmina Beatty, nee Pounden. 1901-1911 residing with her parents and siblings at 6 Novara Terrace Bray County Wicklow, Ireland.

Enlisted 23 June 1915 as Nursing Sister. 1915 Feb. Pack Store Keeper D.U. V.A.D. Hospital General Service. 30 August 1915 to 15 April 1916 Military Probationer at Fort St Elmo's Hospital, Valletta, Malta. Transferred July 1916 to No. 8 Stationary Hospital B.E.F. 30 August 1916 invalided to England. 2 September 1916 to January 1917 at 2nd Eastern General Military Hospital, Brighton. 7 June 1917 at 2nd London General Military Hospital, Chelsea. 31 July 1917 to 31 August 1917 at Royal Naval Hospital, Chatham. No date as to when she left the VAD.
Died at Bethlem Royal Hospital, Lambeth Surrey, London 27 November 1924
Wills and Admin, Ancestry. Ada Violet Beatty of 47 Beaufort Mansions, Chelsea, Middlesex, spinster died at place and date. Her effects went to her widowed mother.

She may be at rest in Deansgrange Cemetery, Deansgrange, Black Rock, Co. Dublin, Ireland
Inscription on headstone there reads -
In Loving Memory of THOMAS BEATTY born at Lisburn 7th June 1845 died 23rd December 1916 "The shall have gladness and Joy" Also of his youngest daughter ADA VIOLET BEATTY born Sept. 19th 1894, fell asleep Nov. 27th 1924.
