Ada Betty PARRY, nee Dowle, Nurse, British Red Cross Society Born 1861, baptised 3 April 1861 at St Mary's Church, Charlton Kings, daughter of Charles, Brewer and Adelaide Butt Dowle nee Chapman. Father's occupation given as farmer. In 1881 aged 20 she was residing with her mother at Sydenham House, Charlton Kings, Gloucestershire.
She was married 15 September 1886 at St Mary's Church, Charlton Kings, Gloucestershire to George Marcella Parry. Both were aged 23 and resided at Charlton Kings. Died 28 June 1917 of illness contracted on duty aged given as 51 (should be 56) at Nursing Home, Bartlow, Leckhampton. At rest Charlton Kings Churchyard, Gloucestershire. Her residence at the time of death was 5 Blenheim Parade, Cheltenham Her effects went to Charles Edward Parry, Sergeant, King's African Rifles.
