Looks like 30 Mauser instead of 9mm. The cartridges appear to be bottlenecked, and there's no "9" on the grip. If I was rich, I'd have several of these...
But I'm retired so I'll have to be happy with the one I have. SW
I'm sure I have a better pic, but I don't have a better gun. Mine is a completely non-matching Bolo (for Bolshevik) I got for a very low price since it had pretty much no remaining finish or rifling. I sent it off to have a liner put in the barrel, and it shoots just fine now.
I'll get a pic later today when I post the Italian rifle pics Saiga was hoping to see. SW
