i have fired on of these, it was at larkhill during the 70's we took part in a destruction shoot on a tank the first round went down through the open commanders cupola and destroyed the tank. (next target please). PS i think the tank was a churchill but not to sure. PPS this gun looks like it belongs to D battery 3 Royal Horse Artillery who were first issued with the 5.5 in May 1957.
