2.22.08 Sarah LAWRIE nee Lloyd. Wife of Staff-Sergeant Peter Lawrie, Royal Army Medical Corps. Born 1866 at St Peters Derbyshire to William and Mary Ann Lloyd nee James. 1881 she was a china painter aged 15 years. In 1891 she was living with her husband and children in Married Quarters at Normanton Barracks, Normanton, Derbyshire. Her husband was Sergeant with the Medical Staff Corps. She died 26th December 1898 in Valletta General (a/ka Station) Hospital aged 32 years.
Her husband Peter Lawrie, was born 1861 at St Boswell's Roxburghshire, Scotland and died 6 May 1938 in Salisbury.
