2.20.01 Joseph SHARP. Sergeant, Royal Engineers. Born 1860, died 1st December 1892 laid to rest 3 January 1893 aged 32 years.

2.20.01 William Burton SMITH. Lance Corporal, Royal Engineers. Born 1872 died 15th September 1898 aged 25 years and 4 months

2.20.01 William Gotley THOMAS. Sapper 24294, Royal Engineers. Born April 1864 at Bedminster, Bristol, Gloucestershire to William and Harrietta Thomas nee Gotley. 1871 residing with his parents and siblings at No 1, Beaufort Place Bristol. 1881 residing with his married mother and siblings at the Poplars, Winterbourne, Bristol, occupation aged 17 years ironmonger. He joined the Royal Engineers 4 December 1889 and was posted the R.E.Depot, Chatham, Kent, civilian occupation, postman.
He had previously served with the South Wales and Severn Militia Division, Royal Engineers enlisted at Pembroke Docks, South Wales from 23 November 1889 to his enlistment. His next of kin was his father of 6 Golden Boat, Clarence Hill, Bristol and his brother, Arthur, Railway Inn, Stapleton Road, Bristol. He was promoted to Lance Corporal 21 May 1892 and reverted to Sapper 18 May 1894. Served in Malta 29 June 1892 to his death. Died of a fractured skull 28th November 1894 aged 28.

All at rest in an unmarked burial in Pieta Military Cemetery, Malta. Plot 02 Row 20 Grave 1.
