2.18B.07 Fanny PRICE nee Byard. Born 1859 to Thomas Byard, wife of Sergeant Major 2053 John Charles Price, 1st Worcestershire Regiment. Born 1859, married 11 January 1883 in Nasirabad, Bombay, India. Disembarked from HMS Serapis in Malta and died on shore 3rd January 1892 aged 33 years and 8 months. Additional information on her husband John Charles Price -

Born 1859 at Bengal to Joseph and Ethelinda Price nee Morse. He was discharged from the Worcestershire Regiment to pension on the 24 May 1894. 9 October 1914 he re-joined the Worcestershire Regiment as Special Reservist, aged 57 years and 9 months. He was given the rank of Sergeant Major 9728. His next of kin was his second wife, Annie nee Grainger who he married in Bombay 17 March 1894. 20 March 1916 at his own request was discharged from the army to his home and family at 94 Garthorne Road, Forest Hill, London. He had served 1 year and 164 days.
