Looks like the 1945 vintage dedicated suicide plane. It designed to take a variety of obsolete engines. Equipped with only the most basic instruments, it further had rudimentary landing gear - notice there is no tail wheel.
Some of these had drop-away undercarriage since a return to base was not anticipated.
Even experienced pilots had trouble flying these. Fatal crashes in training were not incommon.
There's doubt any of this type were used in the kamikaze role. SW

Nakajima Ki-115. Indeed, none were ever used in combat which was fortunate for those who would have been pilots. Given the abysmal performance and lack of defense, they would have made easy targets for allied fighters.
