Difficult to say 100% but the cap badge may be that of the Lancashire Fusiliers?, it is the same shape anyway. The Flash/patch showing a number 5 may denote that this soldier is from the 5th Lancashire Fusiliers. It also looks like a WW1 era photograph and you can see a would stripe on this soldiers lower sleeve
