- 1.20.01 Edward Henry John SOLLY, Son of Sophia Jane, nee Smith and Colour Sergeant 295 Henry Solly 3rd Royal Garrison Regiment, died 13th November 1901 aged 11 months.

His father Henry Solly, aged 33 years, enlisted 23 March 1901 at Aldershot, civilian occupation, clerk. He had previously served with the 3rd Royal Northern Reserve, West Yorkshire. 1 November 1896 he married Sophia Jane Smith at St Mary’s Church, Tottenham, London. Served once overseas, Malta from the 20 September 1901 to 4 August 1905. Whilst in Malta he extended his service for two years from 6 February 1903. He finally left the army 9th August 1915.
