Vyškov Aviation Museum. Today 27.of April, on the occasion of a modeling event in Vyškov, I visited the local aviation museum. The entrance fee was really symbolic, 50 CZK is today the price of a glass of beer in a restaurant, or a third of the price of a pack of cigarettes. There were a lot of exhibits on display, admittedly quite rainy. According to the guides, no one subsidizes the museum, so they live off what they take. Some planes and helicopters had tin shelters instead of cabins, to protect them from the sun. The guides were cool, willing to point out the various details and allow the modelers to photograph the details, while respecting the rules of safety and decorum. I was satisfied with what I saw, the cabin of the IL-10 / Avia B-33 groun attack aircraft, found at the airport in Prostějov, was particularly interesting. Pretty decent blacksmith work. The museum is located by the old road, the turnoff towards Prostějov.

Even though the paint is quite faded, the camo patterns are very interesting.
