This looks strange...

Iron Dome calculates where projectiles will land and only attempts to intercept ones that may hit populated areas. If it detected a certain number of threats, launched a matching number of interceptors and something changed after launch, like projectiles falling short or several being taken out by a single interceptor maybe it decided to redirect interceptors to empty land.

What goes up must come down and there's no use in calculating where threats are going to fall if you're going to let interceptors fall from the sky at random.

Then the boat going over from Cyprus, bbc says it shouldn’t be necessary. Indeed it shouldn’t, but declaring war on your neighbour, when they have an Air Force, a navy, tanks etc, when you don’t, comes with consequences.

we dont need numbers to know hamas and their axis are a two forked tongue low lives..... ben is doing the right thing.... his only mistake is being merciful with gaza ...... from the start of this war... i said ... get the biggest ordnance israel has.... something similar in power to a nuke minus the radiation and keep bombarding them...... else this will be a lengthy and tiresome war.... hamas cockroaches are excellent when it comes to a war of attrition and israel shouldnt fall for that trap.

That's an entirely different beast. Hamas stretched Iron Dome capability to the limit and in places has succeeded in oversaturating the system.

Hezbollah has well over 100,000 rockets and missiles considerably more capable than the DIY stuff and Grads of Hamas.

The only way of dealing with that is considering it for what it is: a WMD, and striking first with WMDs of your own and that's never going to happen because Israel wouldn't have a single ally left. The world expects the Jews to die in droves in order to save muslim lives.

That's an entirely different beast. Hamas stretched Iron Dome capability to the limit and in places has succeeded in oversaturating the system.

Hezbollah has well over 100,000 rockets and missiles considerably more capable than the DIY stuff and Grads of Hamas.

Hence the laser system, has been tested, hopefully they are building 10 systems right now.

And back to Gaza, assuming eventually some form of peace deal is done, I would suggest the only building supplies are wood and plasterboard, not concrete. Probably against the standard in ME, but its much harder to build bunkers with plasterboard.

Not enough under even the most optimistic of circumstances. The laser system needs several beams to work together to take out a single projectile. If Hezbollah launches in foggy or rainy conditions the system is useless as range is greatly reduced. It's meant to supplement Iron Dome for things like mortar shells due to cost, not long range missiles.

The last thing I want to see is a member of "The Squad" given a chance to walk in from the wharf like General MacArthur, going and standing in front of an Israeli tank...

i believe hizbolla arent stupid enough to engage with a full fledged war against israel... i believe that they will end up agreeing to israels terms but not without a price..... ive been between,spoke with them and lived between them and ive seen the people who are living within the hizzy community.....they dont want a war...they dont need a war....they are afraid sh*tless of going into a war......they are pressuring hizbolla on ending this........i said at the start of this war......hizbolla wont dont anything...wont take the first step......if a war to happen i believe israel will throw the first punch.....how and with what strategy/tactic...i dont know....but i definitley know one thing...... israel will not allow hizbolla to stay near their borders no matter what the price the israelies have to pay.....as any other option will be of dire consequences


unfortunely israel did many mistakes in the past 20 years...and they paid a hefty sum for it...... israel shouldve taken out the head of the snake back in the day ......which is iran......

I hope the current view in 'the west' is to keep a lid on things, while Israel does what it needs to do in Gaza.

Once thats complete, and some agreement is made for the Future of Gaza(Egypt gets is back, demilitarised, USA etc pays Egypt in F16's) that we can all move onto some of the other issues. A co-incidentally timed Israel onto Hezbolah, and 200 unknown black stealth jets all over Iran at the exact same second, destroying anything nuclear, their S**t fleet in the gulf, their new shiny Su35 etc. No explanation, no negotiation, no warning. Then Uncle joe can go eat an ice cream, and wink at the camera(God I hope he can do 2 things at the same time).

The Israeli president Herzog is set to visit the Netherlands tomorrow to attend the opening of the National Holocaust Museum.

200+ mosques along with the usual suspects, NGOs, political parties and other fifth column rats have demanded he be banned from the country, the King along with members of the government not meet him and/or having him arrested. A curfew will be in place around the museum.

One of the few conservative comedians in the country made a video ridiculing the mayor of Amsterdam's soft handling of "protesters" damaging police cars, shouting the usual genocidal stuff etc.

Unlikely. But there is a chance he survived. IDF uses a special relatively low-power charges for this kind of strikes. If you look at close-up pictures of targeted vehicles, you'll see generally the car cabin gets destroyed, whilst rest of the car stays relatively intact, to the point that in most cases the car tires stay inflated.
