If you want to do business in another country you have to play by their rules.

Murica F*** yeah!

Both America and Europistan are currently going to the shitter, so good luck to you with your so-called “freedom of speech” that we can’t comprehend, and the 2d amendment.

Meanwhile, your southern border is saturated by Jesus and Juan, and your campus are occupied by the Hamas supporters.

As I said: good luck, Land of the “Free”

Both NZ and Canada are saturated by migrants and same campuses. Per capita we fly in as many migrants about 4% of the pop last year ...so 4% of 350 mill is 14 mill.
The good ones are leaving. Waikato hospital is suppose to have 30 specialists. It has a grand total of 2. Yeah don't cry for me Argentina.

It never ceases to amuse me when Americans want to explain to me I'm a "serf" living an unfree life because I cannot legally deny the Holocaust occured – and that freedom could only be experienced in a country where jaywalking is an arrestable offence, schools need armed guards and an abomination like cancel culture came into existence. Just to be clear, @surfpunk, I think your comment was no more absurd than the nonsense smug Europeans say about America on a daily basis. But there's this nice saying, which is very applicable in this context: Many roads lead to Rome. Let's just leave it at that and accept that a Rome is found on both sides of the pond.

On a more serious note, I genuinely believe that in this day and age corporations and social interest groups are a bigger threat to free speech than governments. The so called court of public opinion* operates without oversight or democratic legitimisation. The poor bastard who gets fired from their job and whose good name and entire existence is destroyed by the social media mob has no rights and no legal recourse to stand on. That's a big difference in my eyes.

*) Which is a colossal misnomer. I'd be surprised if more than 5% of the public actually cared about all those scandals "moving the nation".
Planners are reportedly concerned the horizontal skyscraper's design might not appeal to some people.
What do they mean, "some"? Did they ever even bother trying to find out if anyone wants to live there?
