Well what a life for a gator. Born in the US of A under FDR, given to the Berlin zoo before the war. Survived the bombings that destroyed the zoo in 1943, found by the Brits a couple of years later and given to the Russians who sent him to the Moscow zoo.

Saturn passed away.

That beast had a more interesting life memories than most of us!

Sad; but what a life. Too bad, assuming he’d have been really owned by the Führer he didn’t eat him before the war ended, or even started ;)

The Brits turned him in to the Russians: the gator was suspected t be a double agent.

The Brits must've had a deal with the CIA. Remember that moon rocket named "Saturn"?!
