Born 1880 to Richard and Emily Wakefield, of Maidstone, Kent. 1881 with her parents at 59 Lower Stone Street, Maidstone. 1891 with parents at 57 and 59 Lower Stone Street. 1901 at Holmville, Wrotham Road, Gravesend, Kent. This may have been a nurses home. 1911 residing at 27 Mote Road, Maidstone, Kent.
Awarded the Royal Red Cross Medal 24 October 1917 and decorated with the medal Saturday 20 April 1918
She died 7 February 1919 of septicaemia, complicated by meningitis at 24 General Hospital, Etaples 7 February 1919 aged 39. Her father was granted a war gratuity 27 March 1920.
