Air raid on 58th Scottish General Hospital, Saint-Omer, France.
On the night of 30th September 1917, during a hostile air raid, three bombs were dropped on the hospital at 10.40pm. One struck a marquee occupied by patients and two nurses, who were on duty.

Probationer, (VAD), Daisy K M Coles V.A.D. from Peebles
Probationer, (VAD), Elizabeth Thomson V.A.D. from Kirkudbright
Sister Mabel Lee Milne TFNS of Dundee
Agnes Climie, T.F.N.S. Elizabeth Thomson V.A.D and Daisy Coles, V.A.D. died, together with 16 patients. Mabel Milne died later of multiple wounds.
