Movie / TV TV-Shows/Series you are currently watching

Started watching the new Amazon Prime series Fallout last night, it's based on the video game series (which I've played FO1, FO2 and FONV).

And it was (surprisingly) good. Whoever did the props did an excellent job in capturing the feel of the games (which is more than I can say for example about The Witcher). The story so far hasn't been utter trash, so with just the first episode watched I can recommend it.

Just watched it, agree, lots of homage to the game, guns, props etc. must have cost a lot. Looking forward to the rest of it.

The Man in the High Castle, in the middle of season 3. Just got past the multiple homosexual episode with the nose guy, the nazi film chick and Hoover's black book blackmail, the destruction of American monuments (imagine that!). Riveting series, just think what's happening now, unreal!

Friend from CA stayed over the weekend, we binged watched Fallout. I must admit, I thought that they were going to do a horrible job but was glad to be wrong about that.

I am going to look forward to season 2.

Started watching The Gentlemen last night on the recommendation of a mate. Enjoying it so far.

Sci Fi

I watched "3 body problem" on netflix and enjoyed it. There is a video game part in the middle I found annoying and perhaps they could have delayed some revealing of the "problem", but it is quite intriguing and catchy.

It is orginally chinese and from a book that I just purchased to see if it is as good.

The first scene taking place during the cultural revolution just gets you locked on.

I've read the books (there are 3 of them), very good, original and complex hard sci-fi and therefore very challenging to adapt to TV. They did a pretty good job at simplifying the original material without omitting all the major components of the story.

Finished watching this season of "Curse of Oak Island". Spoiler alert - they didn't find treasure. Again.

Finished Fallout last night. Yep definitely on my "enjoyed that" list. Season 2 to look forward to now.
Same. I've played all the games to some degree or the other, except for FO76, and I think they captured the look, feel, and quirky dark humor of the source material. Started figuring out how to mod the games for a new playthrough in anticipation of the tv series (FO4 on Xbox, FO3 and New Vegas on PC). Modding's actually very addictive lol.

The actress whom was playing Fuji, played her very well. What an incredible story arc with her and Blackthorne.

With the story, Toranaga knew that she needed a distraction from her own losses and the Ainjin/Hatamoto/Blackthorne gave her purpose even if temporary.

Also... come on... she is just the cutest.
