Born 1893 to Walter George and Edith Juliet Rosalie Coles, nee Brown. 1901 residing with her parents at 11 Brunstane Gardens, Edinburgh, Scotland.
1911 housemaid at the residence of Kate Aldwickle, Westcliffe, 2 Kewstoke Road Weston super Mare, Somerset.
She spent early years at Oban, where her father was attached to the Highlands and Island Public Works Office, prior to his appointment as Chief Surveyor to the Board of Agriculture.
She trained as a V.A.D. nurse at Leith Hospital. Victoria Hospital. Victoria Hospital and Craigleith Military Hospital
1917 her parents were residing at 18 St. Ninians Terrace, Edinburgh.
Killed while nursing wounded soldier in France by German enemy aircraft bombing 58th General Hospital Lerouville France 30 September 1917 aged 24.
A war gratuity was granted 22 June 1918 to her father revised 3 March 1920.
At rest in St Omer Souvenir Cemetery, Longuenesse, France.
Her sister Emily Helena Cole was serving as Sister QAIMNS died of an illness in France 1915.

Daisy Kathleen Mary COLES. Nurse VAD. Stationed at 58th General Hospital, Lerouville, France. Born 1893 to Mr. and Mrs. Walter G. Coles, of Priorsford House, Peebles. Peeblesshire. 1901 residing with her parents at Brunstane Gardens, Edinburgh, Scotland. June 1917 stationed in the above-named hospital. Killed while on duty in her hospital during an air raid by German aircraft 30 September 1917 aged 24.
Her brother Captain Lionel Coles was killed on the Somme, 1916,
