What with all the Tech used for Mars missions . Surely a mission to the Moon by putting a drone on the moon actually filming the Flag placed on the moon all those years ago would finally put to bed all the tinfoil claims . Its time we went back

The German company OHB System AG and the Israeli Helios have signed an agreement on the joint development of a device for the extraction of oxygen on the moon. A successful solution to this problem will greatly simplify the colonization of space.

Last I heard was a crewless flight to the moon in february.

The stacked rocket should leave the VAB this year...The first moon rocket to leave the VAB in 49 years.

50 years ago almost precisely, the last landing on the moon took place with "Challenger" landing in Taurow Littrow area for the longest mission ever. The mission finally found some volcanic rock to bring back to Earth.

Captain of that mission was Gene Cernan, born in Chicago with Slovak and Czech descendance.

Gene took the Czechoslovak flag to the moon twice on Apollo 10 and Apollo 17 at a time when Czechoslovakia was not in the USA camp. The flag is displayed in Prague.
