Manufactured by UK-based MSI-Defence Systems, the containerized system is mounted on a NATO-standard Demountable Rack Offload and Pickup System (DROPS).
The DROPS module can be deployed on the ground along with a remote control and rapidly be mounted on a military support vehicle or trailer-based system.

Armenia begins purchasing French weapons. A contract has already been signed for the purchase of three French Ground Master 200 radar stations manufactured by Thales. An agreement of intent was also signed for the purchase of French Mistral MANPADS from MBDA. In addition, France will train the Armenian military to work with air defense. The agreement was signed by the Ministers of Defense of Armenia and France Suren Papikyan and Sebastien Lecornu. Ground Master 200 radar stations were developed in 2008 and are capable of detecting not only conventional air targets but also artillery and mortar shells at a range of up to 250 kilometers and tracking targets at a distance of 100 kilometers. The GM 200 station is serviced by 2 operators. The radars are used in five countries, including Ukraine. The Mistral MANPADS entered service in 1987; the Mistral-2 MANPADS was developed in 2000; it is not reported which version will be purchased. The MANPADS is capable of hitting targets at a range of up to 6,000 meters and an altitude of up to 3,000 meters. Launcher weight 24 kg. There are also stationary versions of Mistral-2 MANPADS.
The Armenian Army continues to strengthen its units with foreign-made weapons. Armenia reportedly signed a $41 million contract with the Indian company Zen Technologies Ltd to purchase the ZADS anti-drone system. The ZADS complex was developed in 2020 and allows for classification, tracking and passive surveillance of drones. The complex is equipped with a radio frequency drone detector, radar, video cameras and drone suppression equipment. 3D X-band radar detects drones and provides precise target coordinates to jam drone communications. The video cameras of the Zen complex are capable of identifying a drone at a range of up to 3 kilometers. The complex can be equipped with a special drone with a hanging net to capture small-sized enemy drones. The exact characteristics of the ZADS complex are unknown.
Ukraine will receive German Caracal assault vehicles. The German concern Rheinmetall announced that Ukraine should become the first recipient of Caracal (4x4) vehicles. Under a contract financed by the German government, Ukraine should receive the first five Caracal vehicles by the end of 2023 and a number in 2024. The Caracal air assault vehicle was developed by the German defense company Caracal and was first shown in 2023. The vehicle has a modular design and can be used for transporting troops and cargo, medical evacuation and other purposes. The armored vehicle can be equipped with 12.7 mm and 7.62 mm machine guns or a 40 mm grenade launcher. The armored vehicle weighs 12 tons and is equipped with a 340 hp engine. and can reach speeds of up to 110 km/h. The Bastion armored vehicle is still in production and is primarily in service with African countries.
The Armenian Army purchased Indian 155-mm MArG howitzers manufactured by Bharat Forge. The MarG wheeled self-propelled gun was developed by Kalyani Strategic Systems Limited and was first shown in 2021. The MArG self-propelled gun is equipped with a 155 mm gun with a barrel length of 39 calibers and mounted on a 4 = 4 vehicle. The MarG self-propelled gun is equipped with an armored cabin for a crew of five and has a modern fire control system. It is stated that the MArG 155-BR self-propelled gun is capable of conducting long-term fire with a rate of fire of 42 rounds in 60 minutes. In intensive fire mode, the rate of fire of the self-propelled gun is 12 shots in three minutes. The firing range of the self-propelled gun is up to 24 kilometers, the transportable ammunition load is 18 shells. The time to bring the self-propelled gun into combat position is up to 2 minutes. The weight of the MarG self-propelled gun is 18 tons.

Germany will support Ukraine with another military aid package worth 1.3 billion euros ($1.42 billion) that will include four additional IRIS-T air defence units, Defence Minister Boris Pistorius said in Kyiv on Tuesday.
So far, Berlin has pledged to supply Kyiv with eight IRIS-T systems, three of which have been delivered. Ukraine uses them mainly to guard against Russian missile attacks.
The support package will also comprise 20,000 155mm artillery shells as well as anti-tank mines, Pistorius told reporters, speaking alongside his Ukrainian counterpart Rustem Umerov.
"I am sure this will help you in your fight against the Russian aggression," he said. "This underlines that we stand with Ukraine sustainably and reliably."
The artillery shells come on top of 140,000 155mm rounds Germany has pledged to deliver next year, Pistorius noted.

Estonia and Latvia jointly ordered IRIS-T SLM systems from Diehl. The complete order is worth 600 million EUR, which will likely include 4 full fire units (radar, fire control unit and likely 3 launchers each).
This brings the IRIS-T SLM/XLM orders up to 39 fire units, with 12 more likely coming in the future.

The Ukrainian army began using the rare Soviet BMP-1TS with the Spear combat module. The Ukrainian combat module "Spear" was developed in 2014 and is equipped with a 30-mm automatic cannon, a 7.62 mm PKT machine gun, a 30-mm KBA-117 automatic grenade launcher and two Barrier ATGMs. In the video, the module is not fully assembled. The module's armor provides protection against armor-piercing bullets of 7.62 mm caliber. The BMP-1TS fire control system includes a two-plane stabilizer, a ballistic computer and an automatic target tracking system.
