Politics The COVID-19 pandemic news and discussion.

Fauci initiated that Nature letter but didn't sign it thought he was smart. They F***ed up by intermingling their interest of biological research with the Chinese Communists and their known reckless behaviour (bad lab security, obfuscation, silencing, killed the Chinese doctor who warned first).

China does not care about safety nor people in any way. See their space debris.

The natural origin theory is the only one suiting those two parties.

So they knew the reason very quickly.

This hearing just supports it in my view.

Space debris is perhaps the least concerning aspect of their views, or lack thereof, on safety.

If one want to stay on the space-program related topic, let's just point out at their tests, with boosters lacking self destruction procedures and annoyingly crashing near residential areas. Leaking huge clouds of hypergolic propellant.

For those who are familiar with the, now defunct, "Liveleak" website; a vast majority of gruesome workplace accidents were occurring in China. Though China was in a fierce competition with India.

Disregard for safety, opaque practice, lack of transparency and traceability. Great place to conduct tests and questionable experiences.

And a tremendous amount of money to be made. Win-win for both sides.

Anyway... the lableak hypothesis was a perfectly reasonable one. But it was immediately shut down. Not possible, nonsense, conspiracy theory, shut up you don't know anything.
Accidents happen. They happen all the time. No place is safe from accidents. For some reason that one place was...

A perfect match so to say. Yes I meant these issues with their rockets international space community was shocked. So why instantly unquestioning believe they would handle lab security better?

Lets see if it ever gets proven..
