Spanish government gave an arrest order? Or how are they directly involved in that particular case?

Little bit of googling and I get this. To me this sounds like the definition of "incitement to violence against ethnic group" that European countries put into the law after WWII.

The details of Isabel Peralta’s case are being spread out of context, creating the impression that she was arrested for criticizing migration. In reality, Peralta, who is a neo-Nazi, was sentenced to one year in prison and fined €1,080 due to violent calls she made during a protest in 2021. Her slogans about Muslim migrants included calls such as “Death to the invaders.”

Between April 13 and 15, the Facebook page of the online outlet “Georgia First NEWS” and various Georgian (1, 2, 3, 4) and Russian-language (1, 2, 3) Facebook users shared information claiming that Spanish activist Isabel Peralta was sentenced to one year in prison. According to the posts, the reason for her sentence was comments she made stating that “Spain is Christian, not Muslim” and “It is not migration, it’s an invasion.” It’s worth noting that Shota Apkhidze, director of the Caucasus Islamic Research Center, shared different details in his post. Specifically, he claimed that the woman was sentenced to five years in prison, had all her property confiscated, and was permanently banned from working in EU territory.

Isabel Peralta is one of the leaders of the Spanish neo-Nazi organization NS Bastión Frontal, which actively protests against Muslim immigration in the country. One such unauthorized rally took place in 2021 near the Moroccan Embassy, and her sentencing is directly related to the events of that day. The prosecution filed charges as early as November 2021. On April 10, 2025, the court ruled that during the protest, she used phrases that incited hatred and discrimination against a specific group, encouraged violence against Moroccan immigrants, and violated their dignity. Particular attention was given to slogans such as “Death to the invaders,” “It is not migration, it’s an invasion,” and “We are suffering unprecedented racial substitution.” Protesters also held a large banner that read, “Neither the king, nor the government, nor the European Union will stop Moroccan expansionism. War on the invader.” The court decided that all of this went beyond the bounds of freedom of political expression, especially considering that Peralta led the event and vocally addressed the hundreds of gathered demonstrators. The protest escalated into disorder and resulted in five people being arrested. It is noteworthy that the prosecution had requested 3.5 years of imprisonment and a fine of €3,240 against Peralta. The court only partially upheld the request, sentencing her to one year in prison and a fine of €1,080.
eralta responded to the verdict on her Telegram channel, stating that spending a year in prison for defending her homeland means nothing to her. She then quoted the final words of Adolf Hitler’s propaganda minister, Joseph Goebbels: “Men will come who will try to walk this path of ours, and they will be persecuted just as we were. But in the end, we will triumph, because what is good and true always triumphs in this world.” While covering her sentencing, Spanish media also recalled a 2022 incident in which Peralta tried to enter Germany carrying a swastika flag, Hitler’s famous book “Mein Kampf,” and a book created by Nazi propaganda titled “Bund Deutscher Mädel,” for which she was deported from the country.

I have no idea what that organization is, but it seems the label "neo-nazi" is thrown around pretty loose and fast nowadays.

Like carrying nazi-flag, swastika and quoting Goebbels.

Yeah, so loosely applied.
Did she do that? And if she did, is that punishable by a year in prison in Spain?

Anyway, the way things are going, in 50 years it just won't matter anymore.

Here's another side of the story. Sounds like it was "words".

Incitement is necessarily about words.

Such as calling for death for the invader when meaning maroccans as a group.

I don't see another side, they just don't consider this a problem.

Her crime? Speaking out at a 2021 protest in Madrid, where she declared, “Sufrimos una suplantación racial sin precedentes” (“We are suffering an unprecedented racial replacement”) and shouted “¡Muerte al invasor!” (“Death to the invader”).

Werent you just against pro-Palestine people doing the same in US campuses?

No, they were actually committing violence. More than words.

The #ChinaVirusDevelopers sh1tlisted the U.S.A. on rare earth minerals exports and banned importing meat from it.
U.S. farmers from the Midwest are not happy,, Apple will struggle with producing phones and Elon will struggle with producing cars.

One of the most ingenious Trump's ideas is paying off U.S. bonds after 100 years and there are some rumours that he will want Western Europe to back pay him for U.S. troops having protected WE against the Soviet Union. He wants to use the same tactics as he used against Ukraine, taking a random amount of money out of his sphincter and demanding to pay it back.

But… who mentally stable trusts in business skills of someone whose businesses, including some casinos, bankrupted 6 times?

Yeah. In this case the term is accurate.

Bastión Frontal is only the most recent ultra-right-wing group to which Peralta belongs, but over time it has been passing from group to group, each one more radical, xenophobic, racist and antisemithic than the next.

Its previous leader, Rodrigo M.P., ended up being tried for assault and battery against some of his own followers (apparently not pure minded enough in thought and deed).

Tipycal Peralta... She has also been arrested and tried for participate and leading anti-Semitic and Holocaust negationist acts, as well as altercations with the police during political protests while making Nazi and/or Francoist proselytising.

Did she do that? And if she did, is that punishable by a year in prison in Spain?

Yeah, it is. In Spain, contrary to other EU countries, hate crimes are clearly typified in the Penal Code (Art. 510).

Depending on the court's decision, the penalties range from imprisonment of 6 months to 2 years and a fine of 6 to 12 months for the most minor offenses to imprisonment of 3 to 4 years and special disqualification from holding public office for 3 to 10 years in addition to the custodial sentence for the more extreme crimes.

Free Speech is always limited by law. If you do not agree, change the law, but as long as it exists, you must comply with it or face the consequences.

A bit like "commie" is thrown about pretty loose and fast nowadays.

Well... Loose or fast, does not always means inaccurate, you know.

Our current VP (Yolanda Díaz) belongs to the Spanish Communist Party, and our current government is formed by a far-left coalition led by socialists and communists, with the support of separatist and pro-terrorist parties.

There are no inaccuracies here...

I agree, if you don't like the law, change the law. It's tough when detractors are thrown in prison, however. Anyway, we are probably getting off topic on the intent of this thread. Thanks for your comments.

Funny on the likes for the shitlisted by China whom has stated it will invade Taiwan and therefor all whom are reliant on it are screwed and the Spanish woman whom is correct according to terrorist thread posts here as evidence that muslims are taking over UK and cities and towns in EU and clearly not assimilating. The law is blind is the only conclusion.
Dem brains propping up causes like returning a gang member to society, it is all a lack of common sense that refuses to plan for the future and pure demagoguery.

This Taiwan thing is not purely about trade. Up till Trump they would be signing deals for full Chinese access in the hope it will be reciprocated, there is no evidence of that otherwise the EU under WTO rules would not be presently be allowed to tariff subsidized Chinese electric vehicles.
Pelosi fly's into Taiwan and the Chinese react by to partially militarily blockading Taiwan, but this reaction just gets digested and forgotten as orange man bad.

China has literally disregarded every agreement it has ever made. They lie, they cheat, they steal. Nope, this is not simply about tariffs.

ndia is cautiously warming up to China as a strategic hedge against U.S. President Donald Trump’s unpredictable policies, particularly in trade and foreign affairs. While India and China have historically been rivals—especially due to their long-standing Himalayan border dispute—recent shifts in global dynamics are encouraging both sides to test a fragile diplomatic thaw.

After years of tension, including a deadly border clash in 2020 that killed 20 Indian and at least 4 Chinese soldiers, both nations have agreed on buffer zones, resumed diplomatic exchanges, and reopened cultural and religious routes. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Xi Jinping met in late 2024, marking a notable step in resuming dialogue.

Analysts say India's move is not a realignment but a tactical adjustment, aimed at gaining flexibility in dealing with the U.S. as Trump’s foreign policy becomes increasingly erratic. Trump's earlier surprise trade deal with China during his first term left India feeling sidelined. Now, with Trump ramping up tariffs on Chinese goods (145% in some cases), New Delhi is hedging its bets by cautiously engaging Beijing, while keeping its long-term strategic alliance with the U.S. intact.

India and China have restarted limited economic collaborations, especially in tech and manufacturing. However, mutual distrust remains. Despite relaxing some visa rules and investment barriers, India has kept restrictions on key Chinese firms like Huawei and BYD, and Chinese development along the disputed border continues to outpace Indian efforts.

Indian policymakers remain wary of being seen as “anti-American” by getting too close to China. There's also concern that China could exploit the loss of U.S. markets by dumping cheap goods into India, threatening its economy and “Make in India” ambitions. On the flip side, some Indian officials support Trump’s tough stance on China, seeing it as aligning with their own national interests.

Nevertheless, skepticism remains about Trump's reliability. Some officials fear a transactional U.S. administration may compromise India's strategic standing, especially regarding the Quad alliance (U.S., India, Japan, Australia) aimed at countering China's influence.

Ultimately, India is looking to diversify its global partnerships amid shifting global power structures, adopting what experts call “strategic ambiguity” to maintain leverage with both the U.S. and China.
