Hi, I am an Ex Submariner who joined the Navy in 1953 and spent 6 years Surface and 6 years below.
The s/m were Seraph, Oberon & Alleide. I completed my service in 1966. My rank on leaving was Petty Officer Lefley
I emigrated to Halifax, Nova Scotia for 18 months and followed an aviation in Mechanics and then returned back to the UK. My final years were spent at the British Midland as a Qualified Air Mechanic.
As you can see I am 90 years old on Monday and it would be a miracle if anyone remembers me.
