Photos Soviet-Afghan War 1979-1989

I don't think many people here have heard of Operation Magistral. Battle at Hill 3234 is somewhat better known, as this event has been reflected in pop culture, particularly thanks to the film 9th Company. However, this film is quite far from the real picture of the battle and the events as a whole. For those who may be interested in this event, I present a photo archive of several participants in these events.

No,it shouldnt.After all,this thread are to good for spreading erroneous information based on isolated facts from POST-soviet history and outright false statements, such as those youve heard from soviet dissidents.
