Hey,

is anyone else experiencing slow loading threads? I mean i open the last page of a thread, it takes me to the newest post, i begin reading and then this post constantly shifts because in the posts above the linked X posts slowly load in and pop up one after another. Really not funny to follow an ongoing discussion when u think "yep thats the last one" and then BAM another on popped in and shifts the post u are reading..

I sometimes experience slower loading of pages especially and of course those full of photos.

@Bombardier is our tech guy, and Site admin he might look into it more.
Others are free to chime in if they also experienced such issues.

There are lots of reasons this could be happening and to be honest I don't suffer it, but a few reasons could be

1/ local computer issues
2/ internet provider issues
3/ a Distributed Denial-of-Service attack DDOS (working on that)
4/ our website server issues

to help me replicate the issue you are having please provide a link to the pages

sorry you are having this problem but rest assured if we can sort it, we will :)

Take the Iran Thread as an example:

It takes ages (compared to what i am used to) for all the linked X tweet previews to be generated..one after another. When they pop up, the post i am currently reading gets shifted further down obviously.

I agree with @Jake84 about the photo threads, know that, live with that, but never had that with the normal discussion threads in the past.

I'll try another browser since Firefox can be slow as fck sometimes but it's weird i don't have these issues with linked X tweets (including preview) in other (xenforo) message boards.

I just followed that link and have to say could not replicate that problem, what speed is your internet running at.
Anybody else having this issue?

I have run the Iran thread URL via an independent website speed test and these are the results, you don't have to understand what each element is but as you can see the results are fairly impressive, I really think the issue is at your end , could be an issue with the PC/browser you are using or your website speed.

Thanks for your efforts. Will take a deeper look into my end here since no one else seems to have any issues like this. And your metrics speak for themselves too.

I've been having this problem to some extent, on pages with at least several Twitter posts. Twitter has been sluggish at times over the last few months. More downtime reported as well.

Same, we’ve all been having issues accessing Mi.net when it wasn’t downright offline. Rest assured it’s being discussed behind the scenes and Bombardier will do his best with the server to make sure all goes back on track asap.

Same here for the last days, but today so far seems ok

When it is happening I noticed that the visitor bots were in the 35K plus range and higher.

I have also noted turning your VPN on, if you have one, helps.

Why? No idea.

But it works, for some reason.
