141 years ago today the Battle of Gettysburg started. Wonder how many of those officers survived the next 3 days

Nice pic Bombardier...thats quite a thought DMZ-LT. The expectancy during the Civil War wasn't very long for officers as well as enlisted.

They all survived the next 3 days - it was easy, because THEY WERE NEVER AT GETTYSBURG! That photo got that label as it was included with photos from the era of the Gettysburg campaign. It was likely taken 5/3/63 at Camp Barry, just 1 and a half miles north of the Capitol building. Captain G T Anthony was Susan B.'s Second cousin, and became Kansas Governor in 1877. Tom Taber, Albion, NY
