You look at the battle plan the Japanese drew up and you seriously have to wonder how on earth they expected it to work. So many things dependent upon one another.

Can only add that I thought it was a great book, and I have never been particularly interested in any part of the Japanese campaign in the Pacific, except where it concerned the USMC kicking their ass...
