I think so, the reaction to the mostly peaceful protests shows a large degree of fear.

Better to give him 30 days, and ignore him.

Oh well, we learn about Democracy from the US elections, and now we learn justice, in PRuskia......Sharpen your memes gentlemen!

Good. Hope all this foreign supported network will be crushed across the Russia.

2y8m later the king rat released to opposition.

I'm in awe of how quickly Russian courts work.

Well, as i wrote above, navalny already has suspended sentence, FSIN (Federal Penitentiary Service) asked court to change suspended sentence to real time in prison ( minus days of house arrest ) because navalny didn't follow rules of suspended sentence.
Usual procedure for idiots that thought rules and laws are not for them.

I personally tied of this bad comedy and with bad comedians.

You need to add a well known Australian marsupial in front of 'court'

I was a 'court' but not like we know it

Replace 'court' with 'predetermined guilty sentence declaration council' and you are closer and that's being kind

To give it any sign of it actually being a judicial process is a joke - Putocracy

Not necessarily.

As I am seeing it reported Navalny was already under a sort of suspended sentence. A sort of probation if you like, though it is not probation but in essence it is "broadly" the same (more or less).

As far as I know most countries, civilized ones at least, have that kind of process in their legal system.

In any way though:
1- if you get a "suspended sentence", which comes with a set of rules,
2- if you violate part or all of these rules,
3- if you then go back to the country that sentenced you with that said "suspended sentence with set of rules to follow otherwise you are going to jail for real"

Well... I mean... though we may agree, or not, with the original sentencing that got him that "suspended sentence" it wasn't really the embodiment of "kangaroo court". At least in term of sentencing which usually tends to be both harsh, if not disproportionate, and immediate.

Everything about the Russian "judiciary" in one picture. You can see the judge himself on the portrait:

But seriously, that's literally not even a real courtroom. They "trailed" Navalny at some shithole police station.

The hearing was actually held in courtroom - Moscow City Court. If you don't know, don't comment.
