"What if the biggest shift in Ukraine right now is not just on the battlefield — but in the tone of the analysts watching it? In this video, we examine why even cautious observers are beginning to suggest that momentum may finally be shifting. From drone warfare reshaping the front, to Russia struggling with offensive operations, to long-range strikes, sanctions pressure, and growing pessimism surrounding Moscow’s position, a different picture is starting to emerge. Even publications like The Economist are now openly discussing the possibility of a turning point in the war." - Professor Gerdes.

"A growing number of analysts, officials, and even former Western leaders are suddenly using the same phrase about Ukraine: turning point. From Putin’s increasingly exposed weakness after May 9th to Europe hardening its support and investors betting on Ukraine’s future, something appears to be shifting in the war. In this video, we examine the signals, the political changes, the military implications, and why more observers now believe the balance may be changing." - Professor Gerdes.

A battle between Russian soldiers and Ukrainian FPV drones and a bunker assault. Episodes of combat between Russian assault troops from the 80th Tank Regiment, Force Group Center, in the Dnipropetrovsk area. The video shows countering Ukrainian FPV drones in the field and storming a Ukrainian stronghold. It's worth noting that a single person can counter FPV drones with considerable risk. During the assault, Ukrainian FPV drones also attacked Russian soldiers. As a result of the battle, the Ukrainian underground stronghold was captured; footage from inside is shown at the end of the video. Some Ukrainian soldiers surrendered.

Attack on Taman Port, 13.05.2026

Based on the analysis of materials from the SSU of the Armed Forces, the FP-1/2 drone strike has been confirmed on the infrastructure of the Tamanneftegaz marine transshipment terminal - the connecting ramp between berths No. 3 and No. 4. At the moment of the strike, a tanker was at the berth undergoing loading, and there is a likelihood that it was also damaged.

Taman Port is one of Russia's key maritime export hubs on the Black Sea, through which the transshipment of oil, petroleum products, liquefied hydrocarbon gas, coal, sulphur, and other cargoes takes place.
Tamanneftegaz (part of the OTEKO Group) is the main specialised operator for the transshipment of hydrocarbon products within the port territory and one of the key links in the southern export route of Russian oil and gas companies.

"Russia appears to be testing a far more aggressive phase of the air war against Ukraine — launching massive daytime drone swarms after overnight attacks, potentially to exhaust Ukrainian air defenses before larger missile strikes. The scale, timing, and flight patterns all looked different today.Russia launched an unusually large daytime drone assault across Ukraine after already firing 139 Shahed drones overnight. Ukrainian officials and monitoring groups warned the attack could stretch over multiple days, with reports of hundreds of drones crossing Ukrainian airspace in broad daylight — something Russia rarely does at this scale. Analysts believe the drone waves may be designed to overload Ukrainian air defenses ahead of possible cruise missile and ballistic missile attacks. We break down the changing tactics, the Belarus-border drone corridors, the strategic implications, and why this may signal a broader escalation in Russia’s air campaign against Ukraine." - Professor Gerdes.

"This is the moment Moscow’s ‘other Kremlin’ goes up in flames amid speculation Ukrainian strikes hit deep inside Russia. The blaze hit part of a cultural and tourist complex at Izmailovo which mimics the architectural look of the real Kremlin some seven miles away. The blaze spread across more than 32,000 square feet as smoke engulfed the east of Moscow. "
