Footage of an attack by a Ukrainian FP-2 drone, presumably a kamikaze drone, on the Russian Project 11356R frigate Burevestnik in Novorossiysk Bay.
FP-2 drones can be equipped with Starlink terminals and have a range of up to 2,000 km. It's unclear from the video whether the drone actually struck the ship. The drones likely flew in a formation, assuming they were controlled via a mesh network, as indicated by the launch of an air defense missile from the ship at a high-altitude target.

I am guessing variations.
Company that makes rocket figures out how to make another type of rocket. Makes sense on a base level.

"Ukraine escalates its long-range strike campaign with a coordinated attack on Russia’s Black Sea oil infrastructure and a naval target in Novorossiysk. The strikes appear focused on crippling Russia’s ability to export oil—hitting loading berths and critical pipeline systems—while also signaling that military assets in port are no longer safe.At the same time, Russia continues its pattern of targeting civilian areas, with deadly drone strikes hitting residential buildings in Odesa. The contrast between strategic infrastructure strikes and civilian targeting underscores the widening gap in how this war is being fought. On the battlefield, activity appears to be slowing slightly, but underlying dynamics—especially manpower shortages and shifting offensives—suggest deeper pressure building beneath the surface." - Professor Gerdes.

Ukraine-Russia war latest: Putin ‘no longer has upper hand’ in war, says ex-CIA chief

Vladimir Putin and his forces are heavily outnumbered and outgunned on the war frontline, ex-CIA director David Petraeus has said.

He added that Moscow no longer has the “upper hand” in its war against Ukraine. “I think what’s remarkable is that Russia no longer has the upper hand,” Petraeus said in an interview with CBS News.

“Russia heavily outnumbers Ukraine. It outguns Ukraine. It has an economy 10 or 12 times the size of Ukraine’s. And yet the Ukrainian forces right now are stopping the Russians cold on the front lines,” he said.

"At first glance, the war in Ukraine looks like a stalemate—but that’s not what the data shows. From deep drone strikes hitting Russia’s oil infrastructure to slowing territorial gains and growing pressure on air defenses, a pattern is forming. Ukraine isn’t relying on one big breakthrough—it’s stacking advantages: targeting energy, stretching Russia’s defenses across vast territory, improving battlefield command systems, and rapidly innovating with cheaper, more effective technology. Meanwhile, Russia is struggling to defend everything at once, exposing a growing imbalance that could shape the future of the war. When you step back and look closer, the trajectory becomes much clearer—and much more consequential." - Professor Gerdes.

"Russia is now targeting Arab Telegram channels, offering ready-made anti-Ukraine content and paying for it to be presented as organic local opinion. The goal isn’t random—it’s to weaken Ukraine’s growing ties with Gulf nations at the exact moment those relationships are strengthening. But this information war is unfolding alongside something even more volatile: Trump’s “today” deadline on Iran, threats against infrastructure, and a region already on edge. Add in reports of Russian intelligence support to Iran and rising tensions across the Middle East, and a much bigger picture comes into focus—this is no longer just a war in Ukraine. It’s a strategic battle for influence, alliances, and perception across multiple regions at once." - Professor Gerdes.

"Russian losses are no longer just “high”—they’re trending upward in a way we haven’t seen before. In this video, we break down the battlefield evidence behind a four-month surge in Russian KIA rates, backed by verified visual data and analysis. But the story isn’t just numbers—it’s cause and effect. Ukrainian drone warfare is now striking everywhere: Crimea, logistics hubs, air defenses, and deep inside Russian-held territory. At the same time, new tactics—from “kitchen-built” drones to fiber-optic countermeasures—are reshaping the battlefield. When you connect the data to what’s happening on the ground, a clear pattern emerges—and it explains why Russian losses are rising, not stabilizing." - Professor Gerdes.
