Footage of a Russian Geran-2 kamikaze drone attacking a Ukrainian mobile air defense group. The video was filmed by Ukrainian servicemen on the Pavlohrad-Dnipropetrovsk highway. Judging by the video, the Ukrainian military unit was destroyed.

The sourcing for this is pretty poor. The primary support for that Daily Express headline in the text seems to be this text:

I am looking back through WSJ to find the sourcing for that claim. But I have not found it yet. No link provided by the Daily Express.

Over the holiday in the US I haven't kept up with WSJ.

Has anybody else found what would be the WSJ article that Daily Express references?
I haven't seen it from any reliable source either. This would be a super aggressive move which would hurt the economies of the European countries doing it as much or more than the US. One of the kooky Ukrainian X accounts did mention something about it, more like "Europe is going to fvck the US, LOL!, Hahahaha". Stupid people.

It would have been far less aggressive for Europe to have sent 50,000 troops into Ukraine 4 years ago to simply thumb their noses at Putin.

I'll just call it fake news.

A video shared by Russian state news agency TASS shows Russian envoy Kirill Dmitriev, Trump's envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, the president's son-in-law, strolling around central Moscow after dining at a restaurant on Theatre Square – where the Bolshoi is, a stone’s throw from the Kremlin – before getting into a motorcade and driving off.
Back in my day we used to call these type of C****s traitors.

I think there is no direct quote it is most probably related to this problem

So to avoid indirect paying if US debt through tariffs better get rid of the debt.

"Russia’s loudest TV host is back with another bizarre conspiracy – this time claiming that Europe is secretly preparing something “outlandish.” The narrative keeps changing, the logic is gone, and the Kremlin’s propaganda machine is spinning faster than ever. Why is Russia suddenly inventing new enemies? And what does this reveal about the panic inside the regime? " - Join Benjamin Lee in the latest episode of Break The Fake.

He would probably also make business with the Mafia and tell them how to evade persecution.

US will reel decades from their real estators political hijackers damages.
I suppose if we were negotiating with the Mafia, the representative would have to have dinner with them.

OK I can't find a WSJ article that supports that Daily Express article. I did look. I may have missed it.

If somebody finds it, even later on, please post.

The problem with selling debt is that you own it. Sell it at a discount and you take a loss. A pyrrhic victory at best. Likely a move only taken when you have nothing left to lose.

The Netherlands and Ukraine sign agreement for joint drone production

The Netherlands and Ukraine signed an agreement today for the joint production of drones. Minister Ruben Brekelmans and his Ukrainian counterpart Denys Shmyhal signed the document.

The agreement marks a concrete step toward the joint production of drones in the Netherlands and Ukraine. Both countries are thus following up on agreements made in October.

Minister Brekelmans: “This signing is another important milestone in our industrial cooperation with Ukraine. Drones play a fundamental role on the current battlefield and for a modern armed forces. We can learn a great deal from how the Ukrainians operate and innovate. In our country, there are innovative companies capable of developing and producing high-quality drones. This collaboration not only increases our production capacity but also strengthens our shared security, resilience, and innovation.”

Drones

Drones are a key priority in Dutch military support to Ukraine. Our country has contributed, among other things, to the Drone Line Initiative. This has made hundreds of thousands of drones available to Ukrainian soldiers on the front lines. These drones are making a direct difference in the fight against Russian aggression.

New €250 million aid package for Ukraine through US initiative

The Netherlands is making an additional €250 million contribution to military aid for Ukraine. This is being done through the Prioritized Ukraine Requirements List (PURL). This will allow the Netherlands to supply weapons from US stockpiles that Ukraine most urgently needs, such as air defense and F-16 munitions. Minister Ruben Brekelmans just announced the new contribution in Brussels.

The PURL support packages contain resources that Ukraine urgently needs and that cannot be provided in any other way. These include equipment and missiles for air defense, as well as F-16 munitions and unmanned aerial systems.

Minister Ruben Brekelmans: “This weekend marked yet another sad low point in the Russian airborne terror campaign. Ukraine urgently needs more military support to defend itself against these airstrikes and to survive the harsh winter. With this €250 million in support through PURL, the Netherlands is making a substantial contribution.”

“The peace negotiations must not distract from fully and massively supporting Ukraine,” the minister continued. “It is crucial to maintain high pressure on Russia, both through diplomatic and economic channels, and through military supplies to Ukraine. This strengthens Ukraine’s position at the negotiating table.”

“With this new contribution, the Netherlands is once again demonstrating that our support continues unabated. It is crucial that all European allies continue to contribute. After all, it is about the security of all of us.”

Previous Support Package

Earlier this year, the Netherlands was the first NATO partner to donate a full PURL support package to Ukraine. Several other allies have since contributed as well.

Dutch military personnel and air defense protect military hub in Poland

The Netherlands is protecting the logistics hub for support to Ukraine with two Patriot air defense systems, NASAMS, counter-drone systems, and 300 military personnel. This is part of NATO Security Assistance and Training for Ukraine (NSATU). Military equipment from NATO countries is shipped to Ukraine from this hub in Poland. The Netherlands will protect this hub until June 1, 2026.

Minister Brekelmans: "The Netherlands provides advanced capabilities for layered air defense. This way, we protect the logistical supply to Ukraine, defend NATO's eastern flank, and also increase our own training. After all, this is one of the first times we've deployed this combination of systems simultaneously. We're showing Russia that there's no point in attacking this hub. This strengthens the security of Poland, Ukraine, NATO, and the Netherlands."

The Dutch contribution focuses on an integrated unit with three different capabilities. In addition to both Patriots, this includes a NASAMS air defense system and anti-drone systems. With this, the Netherlands, together with partners, provides layered air defense. This will be deployed against potential threats from ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, fighter jets, helicopters, and drones.

Several NATO countries rotate in protecting the logistics center. Germany, with some of the aforementioned air defense capabilities, came into action before the Netherlands. NATO has yet to determine which country will be responsible after June 1, 2026.

NSATU coordinates and facilitates the training of Ukrainian soldiers and provides military support to the country. The military equipment donated to Ukraine by NATO countries must reach its destination safely. Dutch air defense enables NSATU to carry out these logistics activities safely.

Deployment of F-35s

Previously, the Netherlands protected Polish airspace with the deployment of F-35 fighter jets. This The F35 detachment is now departing. Together with Norwegian colleagues, the Netherlands monitored NATO airspace from September 1, 2025, to December 1, 2025. This deployment was also intended to deter Russia and protect military equipment going to Ukraine.
