This is true. Trump has brought them together, and presumably he has laid out the bad things he can do, maybe more publically with ukr, but I’d think he has threatened hard sanctions on Russia plus more weapons to ukr.

You maybe right, but it’s the best gig in town. I don’t believe trump, or pissing off trump is a zero sum game. And putin said he might compromise, whilst shaking his Parkinson’s leg, so who knows. If he really thought he was going to take Kiev in 3 days/weeks/months/years/decades, why would he even reply?

In real life, I actually don't want Trump to give up on Peace.
But for the purposes of this forum, I'd love for him to simply walk away. Just drop the whole thing. Let the pieces fall where they may. Let's see who steps up? I'm guessing, no one. Oh, there would be some bluster and tough talk.

I’ve always believed these deals are done early on, and the rest of it is for the plebs.
The speed of putin saying he will compromise, supports this. Trump is pushing trade, presumably that’s what putin has asked for.
