The Italian group Leonardo has announced the entry into force of the contract for the sale of 28 NH90 multi-role military helicopters in Qatar, of which 16 TTH (tactical transport) and 12 NFH (naval missions). The order is estimated at more than three billion euros.

Qatar operated Nurol Ejder Yalçın and Nurol NMS 4x4 APC. Notice some of them have aselsan Sarp-D remote controlled weapon platform which consists 1x 12.7mm machine gun 1x7.62mm machine gun and 2x Kornet missiles all in single platform

That guy one the turret is not a native. I would highly say german and the driver also looks german to me.
Qatar, like some other Arab states has armed forces mainly made up of foreign nations, a large part of their manpower comes from Pakistan with an officer cadre mainly from UK and other western countries. The citizens have no interest in being in the defence/armed forces and are quite happy to pay for others to bleed for them:)

Because they do not have enough manpower nor the place and infrastructure to train their own troops. Qatar is a 2.6 Million country which almost %25 of them are foreign workers. For the short-term gains Its just more feasible for Qatar to recruit foreign military personnel with combat experience who already know how to fight to avoid all of these extra costs and time. This was also one of the main motives why they were keen on Turkey to establish a military base in Doha, mostly to train their own troops by Turkish military personnel, but that was not the only reason obviously...
