Interestingly enough, even radical oppositional politicians like Marine Le Pen strongly condemned the attack. Good. Violence has no place in politics. And what many people also don't understand is that incidents such as this only increase the disconnect between leaders and constituents and dissuades good people from joining politics. I mean, who would volunteer for a job where they're slapped in the face?

He was simply following the example that Macron set; "Aim for the eyes".

Do as I do, not as I say? ;)

At least he still has use of both of his eyes.
 
I suppose a few members of Macron's persec are now facing an exciting new job, e.g. guarding the prefect of St. Pierre and Miquelon or policing a French research station in Antarctica.

Shocking is an understatement .... and yet the useless mayor and the media in general are silent .. still haven't heard anyone ask about this at WHPC
