This little fellow was found entangled in the camonetting in the morning, mother was nowhere to be found. Calling the animal ambulance the crew was not convinced that he would get a good home and was afraid that this fellow was put down in an animal shelter so one of the sergeants adopted him.

And this was a cat named ''Sniper'', found, adopted and fiercely protected by the SOF guys at Tarin Kowt in 2009. Officially it was not allowed to have pets because of diseases but Sniper was living safe on the SOF compound. I don't know what happened with him. Rumour says that one of the commandos took him home
