Paid a visit to this mans grave while visiting Bucharest last week to light a candle and bring some flowers.

I also lit a candle at the French Military Monument quite close by to the memory of the French and Algerian soldiers who died for France in WW1 in Romania.

Sad, that lad from the USA probably gets no visitors, is a very long way from home & family, and is long forgotten........

Yes, even the US Embassy did not know he is there until I told them, apparently the direct family line has died out.
