Just want to share a few pics of my latest purchase, a late-pattern SPH-4 flight helmet. I know the original SPH-4 was used during Vietnam as a replacement for the ANH-4/5 (Rotorwash, you able to shed any more light on this?) and was used up to the 80s. I've had to put some extra padding (ok, bubble wrap) in the 'cap' to get it to sit right, and I believe it's missing some padding in the ear-cups (as the foam has completely deteriorated), but overall it's a pretty decent buy. The visor still works and is in very good condition and the plug is still attached.
