Well, Nicole Belloubet (France's Minister of Justice) assured, back in February 2019, that France would "intervene" if any French jihadists were sentenced to death in Iraq.
I haven't been able to find exactly what she meant by "intervene", but it seems it will be akin to asking Iraq not to actually execute these jihadists. The sentencing will probably be commuted to life in prison (20 years in Iraq) or something of the sort.
