Soon the usual suspects will say, "Nah, this is the annual stick toss games, this year celebrating Iran's great victory over the great satan". I also hear, that now that their industrial base has been destroyed and they are LITERALLY flat broke, are actually producing more ballistic missiles than ever.

The blockade, or whatever this is since it is only partial has costs on both sides. Iran gets one tanker out a day, previously two or three...and the ratio is probably also comparable to goods brought in.
That being said, this festering situation has consequences on the US as well: US strategic oil reserves are at all time low, and when they hit rock bottom, there might be a strong price increase in gasoline costs, always an important factor in elections.
And news coming from military news outlets (not liberal) on the low morale of American troops is also a factor. They have families...who even still vote Republican,
Iran does not need a victory: only the US does. Iran only needs not to be crushed to appear as a victor. And perception is reality as they say.

I see so many accounts trying to twist this into some sort of victory for Iran. Most media, various globalist actors, it's silly really.
Iran's military has been destroyed. They are financially broke. MAYBE they are getting 20-30% of their oil out. Maybe not even that. Iran's proxies are destroyed or heavily damaged. Every day the Hormuz Strait is becoming less relevant. And to top it all off, a NATO like regional alliance between Turkey, SA and Pakistan has been signed, one which will act as a bulwark against Iran.
The US military is operating brilliantly. Obviously, there is a strain on deployed forces and long deployments, especially being 1 or 2 carriers short.. But some of the crazy stories being circulated are well, ridiculous. A riot on the USS Lincoln where 7 crew members were killed? Come on now. These stories are being repeated on every left wing media site, as if true. An aircraft carrier has almost 6,000 people and sometimes people have problems. One person got a "Dear John" letter and jumped off the deck but was recovered. There is no orgy of killing and suicide.
These people are professionals doing a tough job, which frankly no one else could do. I give them 110% respect. I am proud of them.
In the end, I believe the plan is for the US to extricate itself from the region and pass off responsibility to the locals. But if Iran gets a nuke, that can't happen, which is probably what this is all about.

Ultimately, it pushes false narratives at home and can lead to service-members questioning their chain of command, though unlikely since they are on site and can verify wether the stories are true or not, but also a lack of efficiency and capabilities due to the stress it inflicts on them.

@Chazman: you are defining victory by your own criteria. It does not work that way. Not for the people in the region, and not even for Donald Trump who himself defined his objectives by "unconditional capitulation".
Not sure victory is recalling a carrier from the Pacific given the tensions there...

Sure, Trump said "unconditional surrender". He says a lot of things. Iran however is beaten. The region is changing around them. They have lost control. Every day gets worse and worse for Iran. All that they have the ability to do is act as local terrorists and be braggadocious. And.... be defended by their most powerful weapon, the Leftist Western Media. They are done, it just may take some time for them to realize it.
