Politics Iran War Thread | US & Israel forces.

It might be too soon for that.

You can't expect things to change drastically in just 2 to 3 days, especially since the regime is still able to clap back.

Keep in mind the people reportedly suffered about 30.000 killed/wounded/arrested/tortured/disappeared very recently.
thats true, but I would think that with a WILDLY unpopular (thats not even the correct word to describe it) regime in its supposed death throes, this time of chaos would be perfect for some type of limited takeover of areas/institutions and maybe even contact with coalition forces, and/or other Iranians that are also interested in regime change. I would think the chaos would be a perfect time to work in the shadows, setting the stage for more.... of course, maybe that is happening to a limited extent, but I would think if it was happening, Trump would be trumpeting that to the world as a sign of success as well as to embolden other Iranians, and also maybe dishearten regime leaders, leading them to flee, or at least start the whole house of cards falling....
We have kicked down the door, but the whole rotten edifice does not appear to be about to come crashing down....
This makes me think that NOTA is happening, and this operation is going to be a fail....Iran will continue down the same path only with much more rubble, and even more human suffering than there was...
Of course, I hope I am wrong, a lot wrong.....

Words of wisdom here. But someone from the inside should have been vetted and propped already IMO

I think in that regime, its going to be difficult, and the minute you name someone, their security detail will off them. The prince seems to have some support, and has said he would only be interim, but maybe iranian iranians would not like him...

interesting hypothesis. Lets see your correlation. Number of total launchers, launchers by type, launchers claimed destroyed, number of missiles launched etc etc..... show us the discrepancy.

You Brits and Americans propped the Shah back up and relied on internal support, disinformation, intoxication. Of course Mossadegh´s Iran at the time was not as bad as the Mollahs and the Shah had not lived his entire adult life abroad.

Really a good book. I have to reread it:

Edit: When I bought mine, it did not have the stupid cover it has now.

Ccp is extremely affected by this!

In a new episode of Break The Fake, Jonasz Rewiński takes a closer look at a newly revealed video from the Iranian Air Force purportedly showing preparations for strikes against U.S. military bases in the Middle East. The footage is dramatic, tense, and sends a strong message – but does it demonstrate real world military capability? We break down what’s shown on screen, what’s missing, and why visual presentation has become a key tool in modern information warfare.
