I am an ex US Army Ordnance officer (munitions specialty) who is also an amatuer historian re: Army (US) Unit Histories and Naval Cruise books, from the pre-WWII time frame to present. Interested in Pacific Theater WWII mostly, but have interest in European Theater since I have been stationed in FRG for a while. Interested in books, and field manuals, technical manuals and official histories. What brought me to the Militaryimages website was looking for a listing of naval ships which were sunk through SINKEX's over the years (from 1946 on) - Names, dates and munitions used. Glad to be aboard.
